Transfer Center Assistant

Coordinate interfacility transfers for the Transfer Center with the RN, gathering transfer details and following established protocols. Provide secretarial support by entering and managing data in systems (e.g., Central Logic, Midas), running reports, and maintaining logs. Monitor department equipment function and send required documentation to referral hospitals. Support safety and quality by updating weather and traffic alerts and tracking transport vehicles to ensure safety during transfers. Maintain emergency preparedness documentation and follow safety/quality plans and assigned duties. Schedule is 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) from 7p-7a, with every third weekend and rotating holidays. Location: Superior Ambulance Headquarters, Elmhurst, IL. Our environment emphasizes timely facilitation of care plans and transportation coordination with Advocate Health network resources.
