Job Summary
Draft, review, and negotiate business contracts, commercial agreements, and real estate documents including deeds, easements, and financing instruments. Form and maintain business entities, conduct legal due diligence, and manage probate matters from filing through estate administration. Advise clients on corporate governance, succession planning, and estate instruments such as wills and trusts. Collaborate with accountants and financial advisors to ensure successful client outcomes while building strong professional relationships. Primarily on-site in Lubbock, Texas, with one day of remote work flexibility. Requires an active Texas Bar license and three years of transactional law experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of transactional law experience
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Experience with business transactions, contracts, real estate, estate planning, and/or probate
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Desired Qualifications
- Book of business is highly preferred
