Job Summary

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements while managing acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate assets from Letter of Intent through closing. Prepare purchase and sale agreements, amendments, estoppel certificates, and SNDAs, conducting due diligence to identify transactional risks. Coordinate with clients, lenders, and title companies to facilitate successful closings, providing strategic guidance and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Requires a Juris Doctor, active Texas license, and 3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience. Base salary ranges from $160,000 to $200,000. Located in Dallas, TX.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas.
  • 3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases.
  • Experience handling acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate.
  • Proficiency in preparing and negotiating: Purchase and Sale Agreements
  • Proficiency in preparing and negotiating: Lease Amendments
  • Proficiency in preparing and negotiating: Estoppel Certificates
  • Proficiency in preparing and negotiating: Subordination, Non-Disturbance, and Attornment Agreements (SNDAs)
  • Proficiency in preparing and negotiating: Closing Documents
  • Ability to independently manage the full transaction lifecycle.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial, office, medical office building (MOB), or healthcare-related real estate transactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Experience working in a collaborative law firm environment.
