Job Summary
The Transaction Specialist is responsible for processing, reviewing, and reconciling financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Key responsibilities include processing and recording financial transactions, reviewing for accuracy and compliance, reconciling accounts, maintaining documentation, and assisting with month-end and year-end close activities. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in accounting software and Excel. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and fluency in multiple languages are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, transaction processing, or a related role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- English, Spanish + Norwegian, Swedish or Dutch language skills are a must
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite desirable)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
