Job Summary
As a Manager in PwC Australia’s Private Deals team, guide mid-market Private Equity, Corporate, and Advisory clients through complex M&A transactions with clarity and confidence. Demonstrate commercial and analytical focus to influence and advise clients; identify key value drivers and deal breakers; complete pre-lend reviews for financiers; contribute to due diligence accounting for IPOs; work with leaders across deal structures and transaction facets; collaborate with cross-functional teams to support buy- and sell-side processes and capital-raising projects. Requires solid financial analysis, data collection and modelling skills, organizational and project-management capabilities, and formal accounting/finance qualifications (CA/CFA/Master of Finance/FINSIA or similar). Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce/Business or related discipline
- Studies undertaken in CA, CFA, Master of Finance, FINSIA or similar
- Solid background in financial analysis in a transaction services or corporate environment
- Experience with buy- and sell-side financial due diligence
- Project management and organizational skills
- Ability to identify value drivers and deal breakers
- Experience supporting companies acquiring or divesting assets or raising expansion capital
