Job Summary
Manage moderately complex transaction processing, reconciliation, and settlement for asset movements with medium to high monetary risk. Execute end-to-end client onboarding and asset transfers, including 529 plans, life insurance, and LMA processing, while ensuring rigorous document tracking and compliance with FINRA regulations. Provide onsite support at Merrill branch offices to facilitate Financial Advisor recruit transitions, coordinate training for new Client Associates, and resolve escalated operational exceptions. Maintain clear oversight of account opening policies and proactively identify process improvements across internal and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate knowledge of Financial Services Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results under aggressive deadlines
- Strong written/verbal communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to effectively lead teammates to drive excellence and motivate on any transitions especially an ultra-high profiled/heavily observed projects
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Up to 90% travel required to Merrill Branch offices
- Flexible to meet varying hours/days when necessary
- Must be able to travel to all Merrill branch offices where needed
- Must be able to work 1st shift
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week

- Must be able to perform end-to-end client onboarding and asset transfer process including systems, documentation, follow-up, and follow-through
- Must be able to create executive level transition tracking progress for each onsite project
- Must be able to facilitate client meetings with FAs and CAs regarding onboarding and asset transfer questions
- Must be able to coordinate training new CAs/and or internal Merrill CAs in taking over transition
- Must be able to assist Branch personnel in account transfers, Broker Dealer Changes on 529 plans, Life Insurance Policies and LMA processing
- Must be able to ensure rigorous tracking and inspection routines of all onboarding documents for a consistent and compliant performance execution
- Must be able to perform FINRA 2273, REG BI and CRS
- Must be able to perform moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation with medium to large monetary impact according to the established written guidelines and procedures
- Must be able to respond to moderately complex client inquiries via numerous channels to support operational efficiency and quality client service
- Must be able to perform the analysis and resolution of moderately complex transactions requiring escalations and exceptions
- Must be able to proactively identify risk and opportunities for process improvements based on an understanding of how the work impacts other operational units
- Must be able to champion process knowledge, operational excellence and maintain an elevated level of personal integrity and comply with the enterprise policy and procedures
- Must be able to investigate and resolve complex problems

Desired Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree preferred or Industry work experience equivalents
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an investment operations role or equivalent Project management experience
