Job Summary
Senior Vice President – Transaction Lawyer for Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (BREDS) in Europe, based in London. Responsible for oversight of transaction management and execution in European real estate credit investments, including pre-deal documents, deal structuring advice, term sheet negotiation, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes. The role involves reviewing and negotiating a broad range of transaction documents and contributing to the deal team throughout the lifecycle of debt investments, with a pathway to grow and develop within Blackstone’s real estate platform.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in European real estate credit transactions
- Ability to be proactive in new situations and manage projects including outside counsel
- Experience working with deal teams and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on transaction execution
- Ability to review and negotiate a broad range of transaction documents
- Qualified to practice law in relevant jurisdiction (licensing/certification as required)
