Job Summary
Assist in preparing schedules for the financial due diligence team in India and/or the United States, including Quality of Earnings, Assets & Liabilities, Accounts Receivable/Payable aging, Cash Receipts and Disbursements, and various testing and scheduling deliverables. Contribute to the due diligence process beyond scheduling (deliverable creation) and support the US team with site visit preparation, EBITDA and NWC adjustments, and data-book deliverables. Requires solid accounting knowledge (U.S. GAAP preferred), strong Excel proficiency, and effective communication, time-management, and analytical problem-solving abilities. This role offers involvement in due diligence deliverables and exposure to both India and US teams, within Plante Moran’s in-person work model with flexible determination of daily work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, or related field
- IPCC/PE II cleared, CA Freshers and Finance would be preferred
- Two years post-qualification experience with demonstrated knowledge of working in a similar function
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (preferably U.S. GAAP)
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Outstanding time management and organization skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
