Job Summary
Manage financial, accounting, and operational due diligence engagements for middle-market M&A transactions, acting as the primary contact for C-level personnel. Analyze quality of earnings, working capital, and financial forecasts while leading on-site interviews to gather relevant information. Identify risks and propose resolutions for critical deal issues, then lead narrative planning and oversee the composition of the financial due diligence report. Supervise Senior Associates and Managers, review their work product, and provide performance feedback. Pursue business development opportunities through networking and present proposal documents to acquire new clients. Requires seven years of public accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance. National salary range is $135,000 - $210,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
- Seven (7) or more years of public accounting experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years of TAS experience
- Experience interacting and working directly with C-level personnel
- CPA or CA
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically business writing
- Ability to interact with and adapt communication style to successfully convey messaging and objectives to all levels of management
- Exhibits executive presence, intellectual curiosity and analytical thinking
- Capable of initiating and maintaining solid relationships with all levels of client personnel, as well as utilizing network and industry relationships to identify business development opportunities
- Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment independently and within a team dynamic while effectively managing unexpected issues and/or questions in a professional manner
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data to identify potential issues and propose the most appropriate resolutions to deal structures
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to produce quality work with an attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting areas such as US GAAP
- Ability to travel as needed
