Training & Technical Assistance Coordinator – Psychedelics and PG Coordination

Job Summary

Coordinate regional training and technical assistance activities focused on novel psychoactive substances, psychedelic policy, and youth gambling prevention. Gather information, schedule consultations, and support follow-up for training requests while developing educational resources like toolkits, fact sheets, and microlearning modules. Conduct literature reviews, legislative monitoring, and maintain a regional tracking system and online resource hub. Manage project timelines with subject matter experts and partners, collect participant feedback, and prepare documentation for virtual and in-person events. Represent the New England PTTC at meetings and conferences, participate in regional workgroups, and enter activities into reporting systems. This one-year temporary role requires physical attendance in-office and at events, with travel occasionally required throughout New England and periodic out-of-state trips.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience/education in relevant field, including recent graduates and early-career professionals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in virtual collaboration platforms, including Zoom
  • Residence within a commutable distance
  • Reliable, secure internet
  • Ability to sit and stand intermittently as required in an office environment
  • Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of object and materials of moderate weight (up to 50lbs)
  • Travel may occasionally be required throughout New England, along with periodic out-of-state travel for meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities

Desired Qualifications

  • Public health, prevention, behavioral health, education, or non profit experience, or experience in community coalition work or community engagement
  • Project coordination or program support
  • Experience with training, event planning, or meeting coordination
  • Experience in research, evaluation, or information gathering
  • Demonstrated experience in development of educational resources or communication materials
