Job Summary
Training Supervisor with end-to-end ownership of the program to develop world-class technicians for wire harness assembly. Leads a team of Technical Trainers, designs and maintains curriculum aligned with engineering drawings, quality standards, and customer requirements, and ensures compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and aerospace/defense standards. Responsible for certification tracking, audits readiness (AS9100/NADCAP), KPI-driven reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Production. Seeks to improve time-to-certification, trainee throughput, and first-pass yield through structured training, OTJ reinforcement, and data-driven program improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years hands-on experience in wire harness assembly or similar electro-mechanical manufacturing
- 5+ years as a Technical Trainer in a production environment with ownership of training content and trainee outcomes
- 2+ years of direct people management experience including performance management and team development
- Deep familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and aerospace/defense quality standards
- Proven ability to build and manage structured training programs—curriculum design, documentation, and assessment
- Strong communication skills with leadership presentation, coaching, and accountability
- Comfortable with data—tracking, interpreting, and acting on training metrics
