Job Summary
Manage the Training Department and lead a team of professionals to ensure programs meet industry standards and improvement initiatives. Utilize learning management systems and content authoring tools to design, modify, or oversee the creation of compliant and future-proofed learning content. Apply the Mine Training & Competency Scheme, including ongoing improvements, reviews, audits, and system health checks. Develop and monitor the Skills Needs Analysis for compliance and professional development opportunities. Approve external training providers, manage relationships with Registered Training Organizations, and provide key solutions to the HR Manager regarding site-related training matters. Full-time permanent position based at Grosvenor Mine, Moranbah QLD, Monday to Friday staff roster.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or current equivalent)
- Previous experience managing key components of a Training/Learning and Development function within a larger scale business operation
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- High degree of planning and problem-solving skills
- Experience with the use of Learning Management Systems (similar to SuccessFactors and Kando) and content authoring tools (similar to Articulate Rise 360)
- Full-time permanent position based at Grosvenor Mine, Moranbah QLD
- Monday to Friday staff roster (9-day fortnight available)
