Job Summary
Training Specialist responsible for delivering comprehensive training and support to new and existing staff across Business Services functions, including front office scheduling, insurance billing, payment posting, coding, posting, collections, balancing, and daily close in NextGen Practice Management. Develop and update training materials, coordinate onboarding and initial training, assess employee progress, identify training needs, and provide ongoing education. Serve as a subject matter expert for NextGen workflows, support practice implementations and on-site go-lives, conduct on-site visits to assess performance, maintain confidentiality, adhere to policies, and facilitate prompt, accurate performance improvements through clear communication and strong organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience or knowledge in medical billing/insurance processes preferred
- Experience with NextGen or Intergy Practice Management systems preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to train and motivate staff
- Ability to perform onboarding and go-live activities (may occur evenings and weekends)
