Job Summary
Lead onboarding, education, and competency development for Patient Access scheduling and registration staff, ensuring consistent, accurate, and patient-centered workflows. Serve as the department's expert on EPIC scheduling and registration functions by creating training materials, delivering instruction, and supporting staff through system updates. Monitor competency, provide individualized coaching, and identify opportunities to improve performance, data integrity, and operational efficiency while aligning initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Balance classroom instruction, one-on-one coaching, and workflow optimization to support continuous learning across the department.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, registration, or clinic operations experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC EMR system and scheduling workflows
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Education, Health Information Management, or related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of training, onboarding, coaching, or staff development experience
- Experience developing training materials, standard work documentation, and competency assessments
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, patient access functions, and regulatory requirements
