Job Summary
Translate requirements into training that assists employees with their knowledge and prepares them for their next career step. Create and direct structured learning experiences, including group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos, while monitoring results. Plan, organize, and implement a range of training activities based on company initiatives by developing partnerships with internal Subject Matter Experts and clients. Manage costs, schedule classes, set up systems and equipment, and coordinate courses within the LMS. Provide guidance to employees on learning paths for successful career growth. Remain current on adult learning theories, tools, and strategies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, or HR, 3+ years of experience, and knowledge of e-learning authoring software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, HR, or related field
- Background in adult education or training
- 3+ years of experience
- Adequate knowledge of learning management software
- Knowledge of instructional design theory and adult learning principles
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
- Sound decision making and organizational skills
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Consistent attendance
- Knowledge of Microsoft
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using e-learning authoring software (Captivate, Articulate, or similar product) is a plus
