Job Summary
Training Specialist III responsible for designing and delivering employee training and professional development programs. Duties include preparing lesson plans and training materials (manuals, videos, slides), scheduling and coordinating workshops, delivering classroom or other training settings using adult education techniques, evaluating training outcomes, and advising employees and supervisors on educational opportunities. Requires knowledge of curriculum development, facilitation, and software tools for rapid online course development; involves travel and occasional overnight stays. Education: bachelor's degree with experience or a master's degree in related fields; travel required. Experience in adult education principles, classroom/instruction delivery, and ability to assess training needs and develop effective programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in education or training plus one additional year of qualifying experience in software applications used for rapid development of training materials and online courses; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; OR a master's degree in adult education or human resource development plus one additional year of qualifying experience in software applications used for rapid development of training materials and online courses.
