Job Summary
Training Specialist II responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering employee trainings across Hope programs, including new-hire training for Hope Autism, Safety Care, and CPR/First Aid; creates interactive trainings, maintains training records, assigns courses in Hope University and Relias, assists with audits, and supports compliance and program needs while traveling to various worksites as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- 2 years of experience in employee training or development
- Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license and the ability to qualify as a DCFS driver
- Ability to travel
- Must be able to complete background clearance, physical & drug/alcohol screening
