Job Summary
Conduct training programs to strengthen new and existing employees' technical and interpersonal skill development by delivering classroom instruction on both first and second shifts. Monitor and report on training effectiveness, certify manufacturing employees, and re-certify positions in accordance with company guidelines. Identify training needs, critical skills, and performance gaps to develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and handouts that relate course content to actual on-the-job tasks. Produce and maintain 100% accurate training records in the database, including documentation of tests, scores, and certifications. Achieve overall high satisfaction ratings of 9.0/10.0 through effective adult learning principles and continuous instructor competency development.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- one to three years' experience in Training capacity
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to lift and carry PC's and test equipment weighing up to 15lbs
- Must have close vision
- Must use computer monitor screens a great deal of time
