Training Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct needs assessments with department leadership to identify training gaps and prioritize learning initiatives. Design and deliver onboarding education for staff across all levels, including group discussions, lectures, simulations, and 1:1 in-person training. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create evidence-based training materials, guides, work instructions, eLearning modules, and supplementary tools. Maintain accurate records of training activities and learning outcomes for reporting and employee files. Function as a subject matter expert for operational processes and performance standards while supporting new workflow implementations. Occasional travel to other Curant Health locations and offsite pharmacies and clinics is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience in the relevant field
- Minimum 3+ years of proven work experience as a Pharmacy Technician or similar role/industry
- Pharmacy Technician license is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret and streamline moderately complex pharmacy or technical documents into learner-friendly training documents and modules
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills (both in-person and virtual)
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and connect, engage with various personality types and learning styles
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred
- Experience with electronic learning management systems is preferred
