Job Summary
Assess technical skills gaps in the market and develop workforce training plans for Juniper certification. Create scalable client engagement plans for universities and students, while building premium relationships as a trusted advisor. Develop program metrics, coordinate resources with internal stakeholders and Juniper teams, and optimize engagement experiences. Streamline supporting systems and processes to maximize training and certification output. Improve student employment potential by connecting talent pools with HPE HR and customers. Manage day-to-day operations of the HPE Academic Alliance in Puerto Rico and the Americas region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 5 years of work experience in related area
- Experience in developing and successfully implementing client engagement plans
- Demonstrated capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work effectively with all levels of employees
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong organizational skills – ability to break up large projects into achievable milestones and deliver on final objectives
- Ability to work on their own initiative but also as part of a globally distributed team
- Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, and prepare clear responses/narrative
- Knowledge of computing software and networking
- Familiarity with higher education vertical
- Experience in administering learning management systems (LMS)
- Ability to credibly discuss education services courses, content, and lab offerings with faculty of learning institutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to take program data and make well-reasoned decisions based on results and trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- good interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office
Desired Qualifications
- Industry certifications a plus e.g., Juniper, CISCO, HP, Palo Alto, or similar
- Thought leader in higher education vertical a plus
