Training & Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary
Coordinate new site onboarding by managing system readiness, documentation, and personnel integration with internal and external stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive training programs for ARCC Operators and Engineers, covering operational procedures, SCADA systems, DAS platforms, and electrical technical knowledge. Create and update training materials including manuals, SOPs, quick reference guides, and LMS content while tracking records to ensure compliance. Conduct periodic training audits and site readiness assessments to verify adherence to operational standards and NERC/FERC requirements. Assist with SCADA validation and testing for sites in commissioning phases. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, plus strong communication and project management skills. Located in Morrisville, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Solid understanding of SCADA systems, DAS platforms, relay functional diagrams, and single-line diagrams (SLDs)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding and training initiatives simultaneously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education, Instructional Design, Physics, Environmental Science, Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of industry-related experience in lieu of degree
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with ARCC or similar remote control center operations
- Experience supporting site onboarding or commissioning activities
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
