Job Summary
Training Officer delivers and supports training and competency programs across site, ensuring compliance with industry standards, site requirements, and safety expectations. Facilitates and delivers training programs, maintains training records in the site’s learning management systems, reviews training materials and assessments for validity, supports workforce capability development through coaching and engagement with employees and leaders, and collaborates with the Training Coordinator, Superintendents and Supervisors to implement training and compliance plans. Proactive in identifying training needs, coordinating requirements, and contributing to a positive safety and learning culture on site. Proficiency with learning management systems, computer literacy, and strong communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential. The role is based on site at HVO in Singleton, NSW, with a Monday-to-Friday roster.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Demonstrated experience in a Training Officer, Trainer and Assessor, or similar role within an industrial, mining, or heavy industry environment
