Job Summary
Training Manager role at UCP Long Island overseeing, designing, coordinating, and running organization-wide training programs, including OPWDD, HR, and compliance trainings; conducts needs assessments to identify gaps and determine training methods (online, role-playing, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development); markets training opportunities to employees; develops and maintains curriculum and training records; evaluates training effectiveness and reports to management; collaborates with internal stakeholders; conducts train-the-trainer sessions; maintains in-house training facilities and equipment; coordinates vendor-based training and schedules with agency needs. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least two years of training/HR experience and OPWDD experience; SCIP-R Trainer, CPR/First Aid, and Defensive Driving Trainer status preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development; Communications; Personnel Relations; Business Administration; or Teaching
- Minimum two (2) years' prior training, teaching, or related Human Resources experience
- OPWDD experience needed
- SCIP-R Trainer, CPR/First Aid and Defensive Driving Trainer status preferred
