Training Manager

Job Summary
Lead Aligned’s training and development program for data center system operations, developing materials for equipment and systems (including low to high voltage electrical equipment, electrical distribution, UPS and distribution systems, HVAC, motors/pumps/fans, control equipment such as relays, PLCs, digital controllers, and HMIs, and fluid/chemical treatment systems), and managing onboarding, safety, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with Operations leadership to raise operator proficiency, qualify personnel for safe operation, provide simulated and real drills to improve incident handling, standardize onboarding, and ensure minimum safety standards. The role requires substantial writing, including creating and reviewing training materials; initial focus includes reviewing existing materials and identifying training needs and gaps. Travel up to 25% within the United States may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Ability to cross-learn topics from other disciplines (mechanical and process controls)
- Proficiency in preparing training materials for web-based, instructor-led, on-the-job, self-study, and laboratory exercises
- Experience presenting instructor-led training for complex technical topics
- Strong writing and communication skills; ability to write training materials and reviews
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the United States
- Interpersonal skills to engage with leadership and collaborate cross-functionally
- Willingness to review existing training materials and identify training gaps
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
- Interest in contributing to safety and onboarding programs
- Comfort with creating simulations and drills to enhance incident handling capabilities
