Job Summary
The Training Instructor is part of the security and protective service field and is responsible for possessing and providing appropriate certifications and training for staff in areas including First Aid, CPR, AED, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing, Baton, OC Spray, and Firearms instruction, with duties spanning leadership of QC Representatives, ensuring adherence to QC measures and the QASP, developing and maintaining the Quality Plan and Quality Manual, submitting weekly QC reports, ensuring ISO 9001/14001 compliance, and delivering instruction per SOW/PWS across internal and subcontractor teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of verifiable experience in monitoring quality assurance of performance contracts involving personnel
- Minimum two (2) years of verifiable experience in civilian community law enforcement, or military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security force service
- Training certifications for First Aid, CPR, AED, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing, Baton, OC Spray, and Firearms instruction
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a Federal background check
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident
- Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Shareholder Preference for Ahtna Native Corporation if applicable
