Job Summary
Establish and strengthen relationships with targeted government customers while championing Enlighten's technology capabilities. Function as a functional manager to address client operational issues, designing content that optimizes learning through visual, audio, and interactive tools. Conduct advanced user training courses in cyber hunt, log analysis, and intrusion investigation via lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs. Create various content types including videos and articles adhering to style guides, and work with marketing to develop business plans and operational roadmaps. Contribute to competitive proposals, identify new market opportunities, and document them in pipeline tools. Seamlessly transition between hands-on execution and team guidance, treating mentorship as an inherent component of senior-level impact.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Minimum of 10 years experience with government training, documentation, and agile development efforts
- B.A. in Business, a technical field, or related field
- 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
- Must have prior experience with defense or government agencies
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing technical training curriculum, syllabi, lesson plans, exams, and short/long-format instructional media
- Experience directly managing training and technical writing teams consisting of at least a dozen employees
- Understands budget practices and acquisitions shop with the organizations or has relationships with people who do
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Understanding of customer buying teams and how to sell to individual influencers
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others
- Ability to speak in a public forum and provide high level presentations to senior management and higher level government officials
- Excellent interviewing skills including active listening and empathy
- Will participate in the full lifecycle of Business Development, including proposal support, staffing, opportunity identification, bid / no-bid analysis, RFI / Market Responses, etc.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time
- Must be willing to work hybrid the rest of the time with some on-site meetings with the local Enlighten team in Columbia, MD
- Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies and Cyber Security
- Technical background strong enough to determine system requirements and work closely with engineering and management to ensure accurate design and estimating
- Any previous BDP (Big Data Platform) and/or Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA) Common Runtime Stack for Data (JCRS-D) experience
- Experience with optimizing learning content for various platforms including distance learning
- Experience with creating Web-based Trainings in Markdown
- Experience with Camastia and/or Google Vids
