Job Summary
Coordinate monthly orientation sessions, Relias reports, and annual training calendars while maintaining the Relias platform and tracking instructor certifications. Facilitate individualized trainings, internship placements, and new staff technology onboarding using standardized models. Provide documentation support for audits, conduct annual refresher training on incident reporting and compliance, and chair the Staff Development Committee. Monitor agency compliance programs, audit insurance claims and operating regulations, and investigate allegations of consumer abuse and neglect. Assume responsibility for reporting incidents to the Justice Center and New York State Office of Mental Health, including 24/7 on-call rotation for serious incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years' compliance, training and clinical experience with psychiatric population
- Be able to sit or stand as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation
- May require walking, primarily on a level surface, for short periods throughout the day, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Be able to reach above shoulder heights, below the waist or lift as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Be able to lift items up to 25 pounds
- require manual dexterity for the use of a computer, telephone, fax, or copy machine
- complete requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes, including personal hygiene
