Job Summary
Training & Development Manager responsible for day-to-day management of the training team, programs, courses, and the Learning Management System (LMS). Lead the development and continuous improvement of curricula to support business operations, collaborate with operations and administrative leaders to address performance gaps, deliver and review training courses, manage internal staff and training vendors, ensure LMS administration, and prepare metrics and training reports. Requires leading a team, strong facilitation and instructional design experience, and the ability to travel as needed; Bachelor’s degree required with a Master’s degree strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS administration; excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to collaborate across departments and adapt to a changing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources or a related field
- Five years or more of experience leading training departments and teams
- Five years or more of facilitation and instructional design experience
- Knowledge of training employees with physical and mental health disability conditions is preferred
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
- Possess the ability to collaborate with various departments to assess training needs, develop and deliver as requested
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Must have and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business
- Expert in Microsoft Office and LMS administration skills
