Job Summary

Training & Development Manager responsible for designing and implementing the firmwide training infrastructure to scale headcount with a high-performance culture. Lead the strategy for onboarding and role-based programs, translate SOPs into usable training materials, and build hands-on proficiency in Filevine and core platforms. Start with cross-department immersion, then deliver programs, manage internal trainers and external vendors, measure ROI and retention, and provide monthly leadership reporting. Partner with department heads to map processes, design onboarding, leadership development, and compliance training; ensure programs are delivered on time with high attendance and measurable impact; empower first-time managers with development plans and visibility into progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and running training or L&D programs
  • A track record of building programs from scratch, not just administering someone else’s
  • Comfort learning and teaching software systems; familiarity with Filevine or other case-management or LMS platforms is a strong plus
  • Strong project-management skills, with the ability to deliver on schedule and hold others accountable without friction
  • Fluency with data — the ability to measure learning outcomes, tie them to performance, and report ROI to leadership
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the credibility to partner with attorneys, staff, and department heads alike
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
