Job Summary
Training Development Lead accountable for designing modular, scalable curricula and digital-forward training content that can be deployed across Africa. Responsibilities include creating a learning blueprint, integrating digital tools (mobile learning, WhatsApp polls, LMS), culturally adaptable frameworks, and global trainer support. You will mentor country trainers, ensure consistency across markets, facilitate knowledge exchange to break silos, implement rigorous evaluation frameworks beyond attendance, and provide data-driven reports to global leadership. The role emphasizes transforming complex programmatic goals into accessible training that resonates in both urban centers and remote villages, with a focus on retention and real-world application in adolescent health and development programs across Africa.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of dedicated experience in Training and Curriculum Design with a portfolio of materials created from scratch
- Deep NGO or Development sector experience
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms (LMS), mobile-based learning tools, or rapid authoring software (e.g., Articulate Rise)
- Proven track record of supporting trainers or delivering programmes in low-resource settings; experience across multiple African markets is a plus
- University degree in Education, Social Sciences, Human Resources, or related field
