Job Summary
In this role you’ll support the Royal Navy Training Design Service by delivering blended, active training content that is learner-centric and engaging. You will be accountable for training courses assigned to you, drive training transformation, collaborate with subject-matter experts, ensure compliance with DSAT and end-to-end training design processes, address challenges to delivery, develop high-quality training design and courseware using various media and technology, contribute to instructional strategy, incorporate validation changes, and build strong stakeholder relationships to support accreditation and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes flexible working arrangements (remote, hybrid, and site-based) to meet role requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate a passion for training transformation and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate an enthusiasm to learn, collaborate, communicate, demonstrate best practice within the business, customers and the wider team.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, a passion for quality, be able to plan, multitask, deliver on time and work independently.
- Adopt a flexible approach to the role and be able to adapt to evolving priorities.
- A previous role with a Learning and Development environment.
- Experience with ADDIE and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
- Knowledge of training design, e-learning development, and courseware production.
