Job Summary
Conduct new hire onboarding and coordinate training schedules by working with management, supervisors, and employees to define training needs and determine instructional methods. Design and prepare training materials such as tutorials, manuals, and workbooks, while developing tests to measure trainee progress and evaluate the effectiveness of sessions. Monitor and handle logistics for training programs, generate monthly reports on courses taken, and assist managers in maintaining learning measurement criteria. Stay current on policies, procedures, regulatory compliance requirements, and credit union initiatives to provide accurate information to staff. Participate in required meetings and training, and perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years training experience in a similar or related role in a financial institution
- Credit Union preferred
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Occasional walking to provide member services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standard hearing range
- Ability to travel to branch locations
- Ability to exercise judgment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to complete or resume tasks despite interruptions
- Ability to comply with all laws, statutes, rules, and regulations that govern the credit union
- Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act provisions
- Knowledge of US Patriot Act provisions
