Job Summary
Coordinate all company training activities for hourly and salaried employees at the catalyst recycling facility, including scheduling classroom, computer-based, and hands-on sessions. Maintain the plant Learning Management System, accurate training records, and documentation while monitoring employee certifications and qualification expiration dates. Generate monthly compliance reports, manage the training budget, and assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures, skills assessments, and cross-training programs. Track employee progression through qualification levels, support workforce succession planning, and evaluate training effectiveness through testing and field observations. Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, and Human Resources to build a skilled workforce focused on safety and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical processing
- Minimum 3 years coordinating employee training programs
- Experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, mining, metals, or catalyst recycling
- Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry Regulations
- Working knowledge of EPA regulations
- Working knowledge of Adult learning principles
- Working knowledge of Training program development
- Working knowledge of Competency assessment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems
- Working knowledge of Document control systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to present information to groups
