Job Summary
Training Coordinator in automotive seating manufacturing to ensure a safe work environment and sustained compliance with EHS policies and IATF 16949 standards. Develop and deliver training programs (e.g., customer defect elimination, leadership, operator, and production procedure training for new parts or launches); implement and evaluate training materials, methods, and workshops; monitor effectiveness with feedback, evaluations, and KPIs; optimize productivity, safety, and labor processes in line with MAFACT/MPS; manage Magna360 training records and coordinate internal/external trainers; assist onboarding, 5S, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives; conduct audits and provide coaching to support growth; leverage root cause analysis tools (4 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, Control Plans) and align with automotive seating manufacturing knowledge to improve operations; work 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday and earn $91,912 per year. Required Qualifications
- 36 months of related experience as a Training Coordinator, Production Supervisor or Team Lead
- use operational knowledge of automotive seating manufacturing to streamline workflows for efficiency, quality and waste reduction
- use technical knowledge of automotive seating manufacturing systems, machinery and technologies to improve operations
- use root cause analysis tools including 4 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, FMEA and Control Plans
- lead initiatives for new product launches relative to automotive seating products
