Job Summary

Training Coordinator responsible for coordinating the logistics of in-person and virtual training events for LASCO staff and statewide/regional partner programs; manages venue and vendor coordination, contracts, and banquet event orders; maintains calendars and manages online registrations, attendance tracking, and post-training materials and evaluations; handles continuing education applications and reporting, pre/post event tech support, and on-site logistics including hotel, food, and A/V arrangements; supports All-Staff LASCO meetings; requires strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams) and comfortable troubleshooting tech issues; based in Columbus, OH with some travel; full-time exempt; salary begins at $52,000 per year; benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and ongoing training opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred; legal aid or related work experience a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated experience in catering/conference services or event coordination
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and tech troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with diverse audiences
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time in dynamic environment
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to travel within the service area
  • Demonstrated ability to handle logistics for in-person and virtual training events
  • Ability to handle registrations, attendance records, and evaluation data
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, venues, and partners
  • Ability to prepare and manage budgets and invoices
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • High level of professionalism and customer service
