Training Coordinator

Job Summary
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all annual training to ensure audit readiness for hourly positions. Create and update SOPs, on-the-job training guides, and procedural manuals while coordinating administrative details including scheduling and tracking completion. Ensure compliance with policies in collaboration with operations, facilitate "Train the Trainer" classes, and conduct weekly check-ins with new hires. Partner with HR for orientation and support supervisors in delivering tailored training to bridge performance gaps. Maintain a high-visibility presence on the operations floor, verify completion of 30/60/90-day evaluations, and research one-point lesson slides for emerging needs. Work cross-functionally to present updated SOPs at shift meetings and pursue continuous improvement by proposing new training methods. Primarily 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) with flexibility for other shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year of training experience or relative experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Well demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Must be able to work 2nd shift, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
- Must be able to work 1st or 3rd shift as needed
- Occasional exposure to industrial operations including temperature extremes from approximately 35oF to 100oF
- Noise levels in excess of 85 dB
- Moisture and moving machinery
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of training course design, implementation, and program writing
- Plant manufacturing operations experience
