Job Summary
Assist residents with personal care including grooming, hygiene, dressing, and nutrition while responding to pendant pushes and conducting routine safety rounds. Orient Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Nursing Home staff to policies and procedures, then coach and counsel Caregivers, CNAs, and Med Techs to foster quality care. Complete competency skills checkoffs for new hires, perform medication pass observations, and assess CNA and Caregiver competencies. Report resident changes of condition, incidents, and injuries immediately to the Supervisor, offering on-the-job training and corrective action when team member competencies fall below policy or Health and Safety regulations. Monitor training activities and verify progress outcomes, providing feedback on the mentoring process to the Director of Staff Development.
Required Qualifications
- Med Tech training course completion though MCAL required within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Assistant Certification in good standing, preferred
