Job Summary

Training Coordinator role at Bombardier focused on facilitating technical training programs, curriculum development, and course administration. Responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling training courses, developing training materials and aids (handbooks, demonstrations, video content, reference workbooks), coordinating with the quality team on audits and training issues, managing inventory of training materials, data entry and tracking of personnel training and certification requirements and course evaluations for internal use and regulatory/commercial customers, and arranging travel for off-site training. Requires experience in developing and administering technical training programs, strong interpersonal skills to interact with regulatory agencies and management, knowledge of FAR training regulations part 145 and 163, experience with video production, instructional design, and strong planning/organizational abilities to manage multiple projects. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email, and web-based applications, plus excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Preferred: A&P certificate and a bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Education. The role is described within a Hybrid-remote work policy, with primary location in Wichita Service/Completion Center.

Required Qualifications

  • minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience
  • minimum 1 year corporate / commercial jet experience
  • experience in developing and administering technical training programs
  • interpersonal skills to interact with regulatory agencies and management teams
  • basic knowledge of heavy maintenance practices within aircraft industry
  • knowledge of training system development and administration principles
  • knowledge of FAR training regulations part 145 and 163
  • knowledge of training techniques and video production
  • knowledge of instructional design and educational techniques
  • planning and organizational skills to handle multiple projects
  • ability to create, deliver, and evaluate curriculum and materials
  • computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, training, email, and web-based applications
  • presentation skills
  • verbal and written communication skills
  • previous video production experience - preferred
  • A&P Certificate - preferred
  • bachelor’s degree in a related field (Aviation, Education, etc) - preferred
