Training Coordinator

Job Summary
Develop, implement, and monitor training programs that support employee development and operational goals in a manufacturing environment. Collaborate with management and department leaders to assess training needs, identify skill gaps, and ensure production teams receive the knowledge and skills required to succeed. Deliver training through classroom instruction, on-the-job training, workshops, and various multimedia formats; create materials and curricula; manage documentation and reporting within the Department Mastery Program (DMP); coordinate cross-functional training initiatives; lead new hire orientation, leadership development, and continuing education efforts; build strong cross-functional relationships and provide regular progress updates to facility management; ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices and support strategic training plans.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of training, learning and development, or workforce development experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Proven ability to manage the full training lifecycle, including needs assessment, planning, development, coordination, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to analyze training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements
- Ability to maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance
