Job Summary
Oversee barista training journeys from onboarding through accreditation, leading in-store sessions, large group trainings at the lab, and final bar assessments. Conduct shift lead certifications, new product launches, and seasonal drink education while driving quarterly store assessments to enforce quality standards. Validate training programs, develop actionable reporting tools, and foster a learning culture tailored to individual team members. Support new hire orientations, Latte Art events, and future Training Coordinator development to ensure a five-star barista experience. This full-time role in Boston requires flexibility for weekend hours and demands deep coffee expertise, including precise milk steaming and intentional latte art technique.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years barista and training experience
- A master of time management and prioritization
- Expert in milk steaming with precise textures for lattes, flat whites, and cappuccinos
- Consistently pours clean hearts, tulips, and rosettas with intentional technique
- This is a full time role (50 hours per week, 5 days a week) and requires flexibility to work outside of store operating hours, including weekends, as necessary
