Training Assistant

Job Summary
The Training Assistant will support the training lead in planning, coordinating, and delivering training programs and workshops for staff and management, including curriculum design, content creation, and instructional materials; responsibilities include training new hires on company policies, coordinating logistics (schedules, venues, equipment, registrations), maintaining training records and databases, providing admin support for training initiatives (calendars, invoices, inquiries), collaborating with internal teams to update materials, attending seminars to learn new methods, staying current on training methodologies and adult learning principles, marketing training opportunities to employees to encourage participation, tracking progress of trainings, and becoming certified to teach CPR/First Aid and other programs; requires independence and teamwork, strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and LMS, and a commitment to ongoing professional development; this is not a telework role and may involve travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- At least 1 year of experience working in the human service field
- Previous experience in training coordination, administration, or related roles is preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Moderate understanding in various presentation software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Passion for learning and professional development
- Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend meetings and trainings
