Job Summary
Training and Quality Assurance Officer to develop, coordinate, implement, and maintain the Emergency Communications Center's training and QA programs; ensure compliance with local, state, and national standards; manage onboarding and CTO programs; conduct classroom, virtual, and one-on-one instruction; oversee QA of calls, radio traffic, CAD events, and EMD cases; prepare reports and performance metrics; mentor CTOs and staff; support accreditation and audits; work across day and night shifts in a cross-shift capacity to promote operational excellence and continuous improvement; requires EMT/CPR and CTO certifications with several FEMA ICS certifications and five years in 911 operations; associate degree preferred with substantial experience in training, quality assurance, and public safety communications.

- Associate degree preferred
- Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) Certification
- CPR Certification
- Communications Training Officer (CTO) Certification
- FEMA ICS-100 Certification
- FEMA ICS-700 Certification
- FEMA ICS-800 Certification
- DCI Certification Modules 1, 2, 3, and 6
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a 911 Emergency Communications Center
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience serving as a Communications Training Officer (CTO)
- Knowledge of Public safety communications operations
- Adult learning principles and instructional methods
