Job Summary
Trainer to deliver hands-on training of the NextGen EHR and NextGen EPM applications to physicians, clinical staff, and clerical staff. Develop and maintain user guides, policies, procedures, and reference materials for clinical and non-clinical departments; conduct cross-training between EHR and EPM; provide ongoing training, auditing, and troubleshooting for reception and scheduling processes; stay current with application releases, participate in system upgrades and testing, and collaborate with staff and leadership to optimize workflows and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
- Two years clinical care experience for EHR trainer
- Two years clinic support (reception, billing, scheduling) experience for EPM trainer
- Proficient with electronic health record systems (clinical or practice management) in a healthcare setting with an excellent understanding of clinical language
