Job Summary
Implement and support the development of training courses aligned with State Licensing Standards and ORR requirements while ensuring all staff maintain necessary certifications. Collaborate with leadership to execute training for Sunny Glen Children's Home staff, organize materials and locations, and maintain comprehensive attendance records. Enroll new employees in Paycom's web-based training system and assist in developing an annual training calendar. Create a safe, inclusive learning environment by meeting with employees for additional coaching and attending workshops on education, direct supervision, OSHA, and HIPAA. Travel as needed for conferences or to transport youth, and assist in evacuation procedures during emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Have a record of tuberculosis screening showing the employee is free of contagious TB
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Paycom
- Knowledge of Electronic Case Management software
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must be able to frequently maintain visual and auditory supervision of multiple children
- Must be able to make quick decisions
- Must be able to tolerate frustration
- Must be able to always balance mental
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of training experience (preferred)
