Trainer - OJT

On the Job Trainer (OJT) provides hands-on instruction, coaching, and performance evaluation to QC authorized drivers in a real-world operating environment. Responsible for ensuring drivers develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors to safely and effectively perform all job functions while adhering to company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements. Duties include hands-on training and mentoring of drivers, evaluating performance in areas such as vehicle operation, hazardous materials procedures, PPE, and safe unloading; providing constructive feedback; completing training documentation and student trip reports; and communicating trainee progress to management. Must promote a positive learning environment, ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations including DOT and hazardous materials requirements, and conduct driver road tests in accordance with Quality Carriers standards.
