Trainer OJT- IMM Night Shift

Job Summary
Mentor new hires through onboarding and deliver training to develop skills for expected roles while coaching existing employees on additional development. Accurately document training completion, monitor expired trainings including pending and aged OJTs, and provide status updates to TG University and supervisors. Coordinate training efforts by tracking completion status in the Learning Management System and escalate issues through proper channels. Foster a positive team dynamic that encourages feedback and adaptation to changing demands while maintaining confidentiality regarding employee information. Assist with other projects supporting Manufacturing Operations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the company, manufacturing and lean manufacturing concepts (5S, Kanban, Kaizen, etc.)
- Promotes safety, quality and other pertinent policies
- Follows training standards and work instructions to deliver training
- Influence change in professional and manufacturing environments
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and LMS)
- Two+ years of experience working in manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to express numbers as a decimal, convert numbers into percentages and from percentages to whole numbers
- Ability to express numbers as a fraction and perform basic math operations using positive and negative numbers and as ratios or averages
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee information
- Full-time position, working either day or night shift
- Occasional shift of normal hours to support various shifts
- Travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
