Job Summary
Provide education for new coders and deliver training within the PIP system. Deliver constant feedback to coders, QA leads, and project managers while specifying client, area, and team details. Perform random audits across all projects and create training documents based on major error trends and industry changes. Ensure coders achieve and maintain a minimum 95% accuracy in coding and average productivity standards while maintaining quality. Work in flexible shifts including weekends to support these responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5-year coding experience
- 1 year experience with Guidehouse
- AHIMA certification
- AAPC certification
- Not on PIP within 6 months
- Good analytic skills
- Expertise to be proficient in accurately coding medical records
- Strong ability to interpret medical records of the patients in different specialties
- Ability to communicate
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Listening skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work in flexible shift including weekend
