Job Summary
Acquisition Trainer II provides instructional support including New Equipment Training (NET) and sustainment training to United States Marine Corps personnel at multiple installations. Responsible for delivering standardized training programs, evaluating student performance through written exams and practical assessments, maintaining training records and materials, ensuring compliance with NAVMC 1553.1A/SATE, coordinating schedules and resources, and providing curriculum enhancements based on training outcomes. Requires an Associate degree or equivalent military experience (Bachelor’s preferred), 3+ years of military/technical training experience, ability to deliver classroom and hands-on training, and strong communication skills. Travel to Marine Corps Major Subordinate Commands and Reserve units is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent military experience; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience conducting military, technical, logistics, acquisition, or systems training
- Experience delivering training to adult learners in a military environment
- Ability to develop, revise, and maintain training curricula and instructional materials
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and training management systems
