Job Summary
SeaWorld Orlando is seeking a Trainer, Food & Beverage to serve as an Ambassadors-focused mentor. The role trains new team members on executing Food & Beverage duties, conducts Facility Culinary Foundations and safety-related training (including facility tours), monitors progress with a 14-day safety check, communicates expectations and standards, and ensures adherence to food sanitation and health requirements. The Trainer must model expected behaviors, maintain strong guest-service and communication with ambassadors and park leadership, handle multiple tasks, and perform additional duties as required. Must have minimum 6 months F&B experience, be an ambassador, possess strong communication and guest-service skills, hold required certifications and trainings, and be comfortable working indoors and outdoors around chemicals and fumes. Required Qualifications
- Must have minimum of 6 months experience in Food & Beverage
- Must be a current part time or full-time ambassador
- Must have strong written and verbal communications skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests and leadership
- Must have strong guest service skills and a desire to assist others
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have Safe Staff certification
- Must have completed RCS Responsible Vendor Training (alcohol) training
- Must remain compliant with all training offered by the Food & Beverage Department
- Must be comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens in any dining facility
- Must be able to successfully complete Facility Trainer audition
- Must be comfortable to working around fumes/dust/odor
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to work with and around chemicals
