Job Summary
Trainer responsible for quality training of all Clinical and Non-Clinical Support Staff as directed by the Training Manager. Ensures staff competency and consistency of system workflows and procedures in all offices. Holds frequent training off site, to assist staff in achieving competent skills in the delivery of health care. Additionally, helps to train staff on customer service. Coordinates training for all newly hired staff as well as ongoing training for existing staff. Serves as Subject Matter Expert for EHR and provides training and assistance to Providers. Adheres to Corporate Compliance program, by reporting improper or unethical conduct, violation of applicable laws, regulations or program requirements to Clinical Training Manager. Responsibilities include developing and delivering clinical and administrative training, assessing competency, onboarding, CPR/BLS delivery, curriculum design, creating training materials, go-live support, and collaboration with leadership to improve patient care and staff performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent training and experience
- Minimum of CMA or CCMA required
- Minimum of three years’ experience with an ambulatory healthcare setting
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a HealthCare related setting
- Prior computer and soft skills training required
- Prior experience with Electronic Health Records
- CPR certified
- Bilingual skills preferred: English and Spanish
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
